2019 saw the arrival of Callum Gallacher’s Hits Party, a weekend dance music show to soundtrack the best two nights of the week. On-air Friday and Saturday night between 10pm-1am, Callum follows the hugely successful George Bowie Xperience Friday and Saturday nights on Clyde 1, and on Saturday, Garry Spence’s Saturday Night Anthems on Forth 1, Tay FM, Northsound 1, MFR, West FM and Radio Borders, where he has held his own with a demanding Scottish rave-infused audience, keeping listeners tuned well into the night. Within its first year, Hits Party had become the most listened to radio show in Scotland at that time, and continues to keep listeners raving across the country.
Beginning his DJ career at 11 years old, Callum has 18 years of experience behind him and is an accomplished nightclub, wedding and event DJ, and has played at some of the Scotland’s most popular nightspots, sought-after wedding venues and event spaces.
2021 saw Callum continue his run as Stadium Announcer for league leaders Edinburgh Rugby, and move with the team to their brand new stadium, the DAM Health stadium, that sits in the shadow of the bohemoth BT Murrayfield, where he regularly announces to an audience of 7000 Edinburgh fans through the rugby season.
